For 'Drow Elves' Art only

The ECM Elf Art | --> | ECM Elf Art Voting |

2008-11-17 [moira hawthorne]: yes much nicer... the auto compression on the upload on houses isnt very kind to art!
2008-11-18 [Kahri]: That is for sure!
2008-11-18 [Linn Scarlett]: Especially not the way it crops to the pre-defined borders, which sucks. As I mostly have upright rather than square art :/
2008-11-20 [*Artsie_ladie*]: Ok, will do, Linn. :) I'm glad the image issue got resolved for you [Kahri]! We prefer large images. :) Thanks [Linderel] for your help! :) All of my art is usually very huge, because they need to be huge for T-shirts. But I usually resize the image to 500 W and save that 500 one just for the slot in the house. It's better to resize it in the program, rather than have ET do the resizing. :P
2008-11-20 [Linn Scarlett]: That too, of course :)
2008-12-07 [Black Raven]: Wow!I like all
2008-12-09 [Linn Scarlett]: *ponders on other random information* purple or violet-blue eyes are often an indication of blindness amongst Drow. Blue eyes denote a lessened sight as well, but this is mostly due to the human blood producing the blue eyes (deminished night vision and all that). Normal colour ranges are yellowish-oran
2008-12-09 [Linn Scarlett]: Same goes with most hair colours. Normal is everything from moderate light grey shades to snow and blue white to pearl coloured. Everything else is defiant in one way or another. Pearling or yellowing (can be) a sign of old age. If a Drow gets lucky and hits 400-500 years their hair might get a distinct old-cobweb sort of colour. (note: naturally this implies that Meldor either paints or magics his hair white, as he's near 500 and it's still the same colour as his centuries younger son's) Metallic colours are rare, some see them as 'special' (psychics, seers, gifted otherwise) or mixed breeds. On the latter account distinct blonde, brown and red earth towns are much more common results of mixed blood. Funky hair colours either indicate an outrageously expensive hairdresser or demon/devil blood. Snow white and blue white seem to be the most popular hair colours and I am quite sure half the nobles have their hair dyed with whatever means to achieve this colour as these really really really bright whites are actually quite rare. Like white-blonde and really thoroughly blue-black are quite rare amongst us. Ok. Unless you're Scandinavian or Scottish. But ehhh you get my idea.
2008-12-09 [Linn Scarlett]: /end randomness :P
2008-12-10 [Jitter]: I feel so proud that I already knew these :3
2008-12-10 [Linn Scarlett]: *chuckles* good good ^_^
2008-12-11 [*Artsie_ladie*]: Thank you for your words of wisdom, Linn. Your randomness I appreciate. :)
2008-12-24 [Linn Scarlett]: I can't help it sometimes :P
2008-12-25 [*Artsie_ladie*]: I know. I prefer randomness and spontaneity anyhow, though. It falls under the theory I like so much of thinking and being not afraid to do stuff 'outside the box'. ;P
2008-12-30 [Linn Scarlett]: Ehh I've just started a big phat parody on my stay at this site, along with a friend we are writing a story and put everybody in, in slightly different positions, with slightly different looks, and different names. But if you know who they are supposed to be, its glaringly obvious :p
2008-12-31 [*Artsie_ladie*]: Hmm.. sounds interesting. :)
2009-01-02 [Linn Scarlett]: its hilarious :P especially since we each had a minor crush on someone, which is being horribly abused in the story :p
2009-01-02 [*Artsie_ladie*]: Hmm... sounds more interesting! ;)
2009-01-02 [arthemis_]: Finished... What do you guys think?
2009-01-02 [moira hawthorne]: interestin perspective [arthemis_]
2009-01-03 [arthemis_]: It was a challenge indeed. But I like it, makes the portrayed more important or something...
