2008-11-13 [Skydancer]: Considering the type of venue the image would be in, as long as you attribute the maker, I don't see any issues of copyright being a problem. Its your doll, and if you want to take photos of it, thats your business. Your not claiming its yours, just that its an example of a witch.

(<forum:Elftown contests> [544383]) I do tend to agree with [Skydancer] on several counts: she does look more like a fairy, perhaps because of her wings? (Do witches have wings?) ...And about the fact that you bought her, I too think you should have the right to photograph her, but it probably wouldn't hurt to give credit to the dollmaker, Mattel, though. ....And setting up an atmosphere more envisioned with a witch wouldn't hurt. But... let's see what others think here and what responses there are also in the forum. :)

I didn't take it as a silly pun. ;) How much manipulation can you do with the doll image? I would remove the wings for starters. *wonders if I've suggested this before* If you set up an environment more conducive for a witch, take a photo of that environment, and then place her in it, without the wings. This might do it. :)
