2007-11-21 [Artemis Management]: Yes. 'Tis my cousin at Halloween.
2007-11-21 [Artsie_ladie]: Ok, good. :)
2007-11-22 [Artemis Management]: *smiles* I took one of another cousin that won first place in a state contest. And, the one I submitted for the dwarf contest, I took at the Texas Renfest.
2007-11-22 [Artsie_ladie]: Cool! :D
2007-12-14 [Easterling]: Both these two artworks are brilliant... :D Good work [Skydancer] and [Jitter].!! I can't decide which one I like the best, they're both great in their own kind of way...
2007-12-15 [Jitter]: Thank you :)
2007-12-16 [Skydancer]: Appreciation :)
2008-03-03 [Nocternity S.]: hmmm... interesting...
2008-11-12 [Akane Ice]: Quick question, I read the rules but if we have a witchy photo that involves a witch, which is in fact not human but a doll...can we submit that? (Does that even make sence?)
2008-11-12 [Jitter]: Hm it does. And now that you mention it I do have a couple of doll witches that would qualify better than my manip :P
2008-11-12 [Artsie_ladie]: I think it would depend on how 'real' the dolls look. On ECM Troll Photo, a member asked about a statue being accepted and [Hedda] responded with:
2007-11-08 [Hedda]: It depends if it looks like a real troll.
So, I'm guessing the same would apply with dolls. :P
2008-11-12 [Akane Ice]: Alright I will get an example picture of her and see what the council thinks about it...then I will take an official picture! ^^
2008-11-13 [Artsie_ladie]: Ok, sounds good. :)
2008-11-13 [Akane Ice]:
This is a closeup I have of her.
2008-11-13 [Artsie_ladie]: I'll have to get back to you on this and of course, if anyone else has an opinion, I'd like to hear yours as well. :) Of course, the image of submission would have to be uploaded to Elftown, but I'm sure you know this. *winks*
2008-11-13 [Akane Ice]: Naturally ^^ I just took it off my myspace for quick usage. Lol. Downloading is such a drag. Anyhow I am also interested in the opinions of the other council members, because it is a good question ^^
2008-11-13 [Artsie_ladie]: *nods* But as a mod for this contest, I have to make sure I remind folks, just in case they might forget. *winks* Yeah, it can be, especially if one has dial-up. Argh! Yes, it is a good question. :)
2008-11-13 [Akane Ice]: I am begining to wonder the legitimacy of my question though...I know that back tracking on my ideas is stupid but...consider
2008-11-13 [Skydancer]: grins, well, one thing I would comment on, having nothing to do with the ownership or rights, is... that it looks a lot more like a fairy than witch in my opinion. Nice doll though. :)
2008-11-13 [Akane Ice]: I thought that too, actually...LOL ^^ IT is called Pagan Barbie though, so I suppose it is supposed to be a witch. What do you think about the ownership rights though, since it was your argument that made me question it ^^
And thank you ^^ Whether she be witch or fariey, she is certinally one of my favorite material items.
2008-11-13 [Skydancer]: Considering the type of venue the image would be in, as long as you attribute the maker, I don't see any issues of copyright being a problem. Its your doll, and if you want to take photos of it, thats your business. Your not claiming its yours, just that its an example of a witch.
