Rules about entries, Tips and Hints:
- Every image will be eligible for every category of finalists (unless, of course, it is completely insufficient, ie, a non-color image will not be eligible for Best Use of Color, etc.).
- Contestants should post their username first, followed by a list of their entries, numbered appropriately. If the image has a title, post that too. Example:

- Contestants are encouraged to NOT advertise their entries alone in the contest in a rude, soliciting, inappropriate or biased manner. Any claims of someone trying to overrun a contest category or disrupting the contest in any way like these, and that are found to be factual can result in one or more of the following repercussions: - Maximum number of entries: 3 images. At least one must include color.

2006-06-08 [xido]: Because of timing issues with the release of an ET News Item on the WFR's renovations, and this contest (which I wanted at least 20 entries, was hoping for 30), as well as my own restrictions on time with school and work, I am going to extend the deadline. For those of you who have already entered, please remember that you may enter as many as three times, with each having an equal chance of winning in any of the categories involved. If you have inspiration to try another route, please show me more of your wonderful skill! I am already loving what I see! ;)

Ask them to visit Elftown Water Fountain Design Contest to vote for the three polled categories: BEST OF SHOW, BEST USE OF COLOR, and MOST ELFTOWN-ISH.
The three other categories will be judged by credible artists, when I can get more time to be online (my laptop just crashed on me the other day, and I will need more time to work on this portion for you all...)

2006-08-16 [xido]: A panel of judges is being created, and who will remain anonymous except by voluntary output, and who will judge the remaining three categories: Best Background, Best of Engineering/Ar
These judges, including myself, will vote on these categories outside of others' knowledge, and when the votes are tallied and cleared of tie-breakers, I will announce the finalists.
All finalists will be asked if they are willing and able to participate in the final round of the project, where all finalists will have an opportunity to work as an Art Project Team, and where a final image will be created to showcase on the ORP page, Elftown Water Fountain. Until a final image is made in full, the winner of the Best of Show category will be placed on the page. Cross your fingers, and advertise the contest polls, everyone!
Also, a message will be sent soon, providing all entrants with contestant badges, banners, and a hearty thank you for taking part in this contest.

2006-10-02 [xido]: Wow! I just closed the polled voting for the first three categories, and it was a home run score for [Mom]'s fountain design. There was some good competition for Best Use of Color, and all the entries were fun and creative. I am really happy with the contest, and glad that everyone could participate as well.
Winners and finalists will be announced within the coming week, and awarded badges. Based on the judging so far, I am awaiting one more judge's input for those categories.
