Welcome to a Preaching Poetry!
Please take a seat, the refreshments table is to your left and seating is to your right.
It is human nature to create and use words for more than speech. The imagination has many rooms and many doors to which we must unlock to achieve our full potential. I present this wiki as a means for people to express themselves and show off their talents. The main talents to be shown for this wiki are of course POETRY.
They are songs that need no music and no tone, they can be spoken and read, heard, one may say, without ears. They come from the heart and from the depths of ones very conscience. Poetry says what the human mouth struggles to give words. What the human mind struggles to give meaning, what the heart struggles to understand.
Poetry breaths life into us and then allows us to express our selves.
I am [Reaver.] and I would like to offer all of you the chance to show Elftown what your soul is trying to say. Everyone is welcome, poems of all styles. It need not rhyme; it need not even make sense, just so long as it means something to you.
Rules:
1. All poetry contributed to this competition must be completely your own, if you are found out to have plagiarised any work you shall be banned from Preaching Poetry and reported to the guards.
2. Poetry must fit the current theme, if any poetry does not fit the theme it shall be removed.
