Donations are only used for buying computer hardware for Elftown, or stored as a reserve in case something should unexpectedly break down and need replacement. Elfwood has given Elftown a lot of hardware, so there is also a debt to pay there.
Elftown doesn't have to pay for Internet-access and don't have any administration costs (except the ones from Paypal, which are about 10%). We hope that there is faster hardware available soon so that we can speed up Elftown, but funds for that are still missing.
If you're a donor (a least 10 euro), you can use these extra tags in your description in your house:

If you have donated 20 euro or more, you will get the limitation on your descriptions removed. It doesn't mean that we'll allow totally hideous presentations, but "double-donors" are allowed to make a little bigger descriptions.

Also 67 SEK has been taken in previous withdraw fees
by Paypal, but that is free from now on.
Some value is also lost in the conversion from euro to Swedish
krona. How much is hard to tell without doing the diff between the
income and the current treasury. It is about 2.5% of the transfered
money. Send a big thankyou to the Swedish nationalists, left wingers
and enviromentalist for protecting the banks' right to steal Elftown's
money in the currency exchange!
